The Sacred Monastery of St. John of the Ladder is entirely self-funded and receives no external grants or state assistance. Our brotherhood supports itself through the labor of our hands—crafting traditional incense, printing antimensia, and making Orthodox Church vestments and embroideries.

However, keeping a monastery running requires covering basic operating costs, utilities, and building maintenance.
