Canonical Features & Liturgical Artistry

• Heavyweight Royal Purple Liturgical Satin: We utilize a premium, high-density satin that provides a rich, dignified drape and graceful flow without adding excess discomfort during multi-hour services.
• Traditional Streams of Teaching (Potamoi / Istochniki): Four horizontal red and white bands flow down the length of the mantle, representing the divine streams of orthodox doctrine flowing from the bishop to his flock.
• Embroidered Golden Crosses & Upper Tablets (Tabli): Prominently affixed at the breast level are two woven golden Orthodox crosses set upon intricate red-and-gold patterned panels, symbolizing the double tablets of the Law and the protection of the Holy Cross.
• Custom Hierarchical Initials: The lower front tablets are customized with the Hierarch’s episcopal initials. We provide hand-embroidery in any requested alphabet, including Greek, Church Slavonic, English, Romanian, or Georgian.
• Ornate Golden Clasps (Pomata): The mantle fastens at the neck with a secure gold-colored button and is held along the chest by three ornate, golden-cast bell clasps (Pomata), reminiscent of the bells on the hem of Aaron’s high-priestly robe.
