A Labor of Prayer & Tradition
To honor the centuries-old traditions of Mount Athos, every batch of our incense is crafted by hand in a spirit of devotion. The process is a testament to our monastic life of patience and prayer:
- We begin with pure Ethiopian frankincense, ground to a fine, golden powder.
- This powder is then saturated with high-quality, fragrant rose oil and kneaded by hand into a dough.
- The mixture is carefully rolled, dusted with magnesia for a perfect consistency, and cut into small pieces.
- Finally, the incense is cured for over 30 days, allowing the aromas to fully mature into the sublime fragrance we offer to you.

The proceeds from our handiwork directly sustain our self-funded monastic brotherhood and support the monastery that we rebuilt, by the grace of God, after it was destroyed in an earthquake.
