At the Sacred Monastery of St. John of the Ladder, we consider the making of vestments to be a sacred craft. Every item is 100% made to order by real Orthodox monastics in our small monastery workshop in Greece. When you commission vestments from us, you are receiving a garment made with prayer, high-quality materials, and exacting attention to detail.
Fully Custom & Flexible Ordering
We do not force you to buy pre-packaged sets. You can order a full set of priest vestments, or any combination of individual pieces you require. Available items include:

We are very selective about the materials we use, and the vestments we make for you are the same we make for ourselves. You can request your desired fabric colors, trim colors, and fabric weight. We will do our best to find the right materials for you.
Exclusive, In-House Embroidery
Unlike many vestment makers who outsource their detailing, we create all of our embroideries right here in our workshop using our own professional embroidery machine. Our designs are completely original to our monastery and are available nowhere else in the world.
You can request custom thread colors to perfectly match your chosen fabric. Please note: Custom embroidery is factored into your quote. While we do sell embroideries individually on our website for other tailors, there is no need for you to purchase them separately when ordering vestments from us.

- Receive Your Quote: We will review your request and reply promptly with a custom quote and an estimated timeframe for completion.
- Secure Payment: If you accept the quote, we will create a private, custom order link just for you on our website. You can easily and securely pay via Credit Card or PayPal, and you will receive a full receipt.
- Crafting & Shipping: We will sew your vestments and ship them safely to you.

Shipping & Customs Information
We proudly ship our handcrafted vestments worldwide direct from our monastery in Greece. We do not charge taxes on vestment orders at checkout. However, depending on your location, your country’s customs agency may charge import duties or taxes upon arrival. The customer is entirely responsible for any customs fees or duties incurred.
